Store Managers
The Store Manager role within Harvey Norman is different to that of probably any other large retailer. We have four exciting departments: Computers, Electrical, Bedding and Furniture with a Store Manager per department for each store. Our culture is bottom up rather than top down so our Store Managers are the key leaders in our business. It’s critical that they are strategic, detail oriented, customer focused, results driven and are motivated to help others win.
Our culture requires managers to use their initiative and they have a lot of autonomy in the day to day running of the business. However the most important responsibility they have is developing people. Store Managers recruit and manage their own teams and it is their responsibility to develop a team who delivers World Class customer service every day. Each Store Manager is responsible for running their department as if it is their own business and there are significant financial rewards available if you’re successful. We believe that when the business is succeeding our leaders should be recognised, celebrated and share in the financial success aswell.
Assistant Store Managers
As an Assistant Manager at Harvey Norman you’ll be at the forefront of our business. You’ll get to know our brand and our customers innately and form strong relationships with suppliers, head office teams and store staff.
